Brother Theodore

Brother Theodore was quite a character. I first heard of him on a short lived TV show called Disinfo Nation, where he would deliver insane, vaguely prophetic and absolutely hilarious ranting monologues, in a thick German accent and looking about a bird’s chirp away from that great Zusammenkunft in the sky. An internet search led me to more clips of his ‘stand-up tragedy’, as he called it – dozens of TV appearances throughout the 80’s and 90’s. The man is a riot, he once even got deported from Switzerland for chess hustling. I didn’t even know you could DO that!
Here are two of my favorite clips from Disinfo Nation. Do yourself a favor and search for some of his videos, they’re all gut-busters.

Kitten walks with only two legs

“This poor kitten was brutally injured then had his hind legs and tail surgically removed. It’s unknown how he got injured. He was nursed back to health by the employees of this book store in Akita, Japan and is now living at an adopted home.”
