Best part is the Sonic the Hedgehog music looping (and jumping around) in the background.

This swept me over with a wave of nostalgia…as one of those poor kids who was playing early ’80s Commodore 64 games in the early to mid ’90s when all the other kids had Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis. What about yourself?

This video is pretty amateurish, but any fan of Goldeneye will immediately love the hilarious and outdated tech issues this video is parodying. Long live N64!

If you ever played Final Fantasy VII, you’ll remember the gigantic buster sword that Cloud wielded throughout the game. Well….some guy made one, and it turns out that carrying a sword taller than your frickin’ body is a whole lot more difficult than the videogames make it look.

The most famous video game level of all time, from Mario’s perspective. This is cool to watch, though I bet actually playing the game would be not much fun at all.

A hilarious real-life take on Super Mario Brothers….this reveals what we all suspected, that Mario is really on a mushroom fueled trip which is why all this weird shit keeps going on like talking turtles and magic pipes! It was directed by Joe Nicolosi, an Ithaca College graduate and a few friends of mine were involved, including Steve Quinlan (the guy who plays Koopa) and Justin Talbott, who composed the original music. Funny stuff!

This is a promo video for the 1992 Bally Pinball “The Addams Family.” I never realized that pinball machines were so complicated and intricate…this video was fascinating to me. Like revealing a whole new subculture I didn’t know existed.

Jamie Mantzel is my new favorite person on the Internet. He is trying to build a gigantic walking robot, and he is documenting it on YouTube. He lives in the middle of nowhere and has no electricity, and tends to get distracted. Will he be able to build this robot? Watch his videos to find out!
Here’s a more recent video:
Jaimie’s profile from his YouTube Channel:
I’m Jaimie… Mantzel. I like to do a lot of things. I’m kinda like…. hmmm… who am I like…. Oh, I’m like a cross between MacGuyver (ya, I like to build stuff), and that guy in fight club (not because I fight, because I’m reclusive, resist the system, and live life my own way). Wait, no no. I’m more like a cross between Stewy from family guy, and… uhhh… well, people say “run, forest, run” to me a lot. That might just be because I run a lot, though. OK, I don’t know who I’m like. I’m a super-human space alien monster with a brain the size of a planet. Now stop pressuring me!!!!

“‘Red Shirt Guy’ stumps World of Warcraft game designers at Blizzcon with a tremendously geeky question.”
So happy that this manchild exists.
