Football Season is Over.

Six years ago today, Hunter S. Thompson committed suicide. His suicide note was titled “Football Season is Over” and read as follows:
“No More Games. No More Bombs. No More Walking. No More Fun. No More Swimming. 67. That is 17 years past 50. 17 more than I needed or wanted. Boring. I am always bitchy. No Fun — for anybody. 67. You are getting Greedy. Act your old age. Relax — This won’t hurt.”

Try as you might, you can’t walk in a straight line without a visible guide point, like the Sun or a star. You might think you’re walking straight, but as NPR’s Robert Krulwich reports, a map of your route would reveal you are doomed to walk in circles.

200 students admit to cheating after professor catches them red-handed

Professor Richard Quinn was so disgusted by evidence that many of his students had cheated in their midterm exam that he gave them this lecture to them a life-long lesson. You can cut the tension in this room with a knife. YEESH.
