In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, I thought it appropriate to honor the internet’s most (in)famous Lepruchaun, the one who resides in Mobile, Alabama. May the luck of the Irish be with you.

One of the latest viral sensations is the known as “Trololo guy,” which I posted here on Pie Heaven a few weeks ago. Well, someone tracked down the Soviet singer 44 years later…his name is Eduard Khil and this was his signature song, and apparently a big hit in the USSR back in the ’60s.
The song’s translated title is “I’m very glad, because I’m going back home” and, according to Khil, is “in fact about an American who returns home through the prairies, and his beloved Mary waits for him at home and knits a woolen sock for him.”

Thank you, India. This is “The Diamond Maruti Car Circus in Delhi … These death defying bad boys drive a wonky Nissan all over your foolish health & safety regulation.”

One of my favorite websites is Old Jews Telling Jokes, which is exactly what it sounds like. The folks who run the site were so kind as to compile their ten favorite jokes from last year into one convenient little player, and I’m sure you’ll love it as much as I did! (It looks like just one video here, but the player will automatically load up the next video when the first one finishes.)

Sad you can’t see a good Alice in Wonderland? Meryl Streep and Mark Lynn Baker (‘Perfect Stranger’s” Cousin Larry) star in this musical from 1981. The Jabberwock stuff in the second one is particularly great.

Saskatchewan has two things going for it: Silly accents, and it’s fucking cold. Oh wait, I guess that would be just one thing. (Thanks, Jim)

According to Marina, the hot Russian chick from Hot For Words, “OK” is the most popular word worldwide, and is pronounced the same in nearly every language. But what is its origin? This video delves into several popular theories of where the word came from, and though it’s super cheesy in typical Hot For Words style, it’s also quite interesting.

This is part one of an eight part documentary about Liberia by Vice TV (the whole series is here…) Liberia is a war-torn country where heroin-smoking child soldiers eat the bloody hearts of their fallen enemies, as they struggle to become warlords. Just a typical day in Monrovia.

At temple, we ate various types of preserved fishes after sabath services. Lox, pickled herring, smoked whitefish, gefilte fish, salt cod, kippered herring, soaked mackerel, yellow-bellied tuna, Ed Kotch, minnesota soup, cat, just to name a few…
I’m glad I was raised Jewish, there’s no fish at church:
