In 2009, thousands of Internet users were asked to remake “Star Wars: A New Hope” into a fan film, 15 seconds at a time. Contributors were allowed to recreate scenes from Star Wars however they wanted.
Here is the Director’s Cut of the final film, the whole 2 hour feature, edited together to form a surprisingly coherent piece. Amazing. And so, so nerdy.

A year of a girl named Madeline’s life in one-second-per-day increments. The thing that was amazing to me was how similar of a life we share…she lives in LA somewhere near me, and clearly drives through the same places as I do all the time.
