And so, the epic battle of the infomercial tycoons begins. Vince of ShamWow / SlapChop fame had better watch out. Billy Mays is going to deliver the SHAMPOW!

The Professor Brothers explain the story of Sodom and Gomorrah. (Apparently, SuperDeluxe.com has taken down Brad Neely’s amazing web series, and it makes me sad. Luckily, someone has uploaded all of them to YouTube! Thank goodness! This man is a national treasure. Anyway, this is one of my favorite episodes from Professor Brothers, Neely’s finest work.)

Just the other day, Joaquin Phoenix and Letterman had a similar awkward (some would say “drugged out”) interview.
Well, Crispin Glover’s interview, it turns out, was a piece of performance art that has been dubbed the “Theater of Discomfort.” Many people believe that Phoenix’s interview is also a Borat-style bit of performance art, for an upcoming “documentary” about his transition from an A-list Hollywood Actor to a bearded hip hop mogul. So, was Joaquin out of his mind, or acting? Take a look and decide for yourself:
Here’s Crispin Glover in 1987:

A Japanese girl practices speaking some (broken) English into her webcam. This is really surreal, kinda funny, kinda creepy, kinda cute. Not quite sure. (She has dozens of other videos up too!)

Awww, how I miss Japan. This is a really cool shot, and really captures all aspects of the restaurant. I would love to use this in a movie someday.
