Ithacapella covers “Pants on the Ground”

The PS22 Chorus and Ithacapella Cover “Fireflies”

I already posted the PS22’s original cover of Owl City’s “Fireflies” a few weeks ago, but somehow ITHACAPELLA (from my alma mater, Ithaca College) managed to head down to Staten Island to sing with the chorus. Awesome. So here it is again. (Thanks, Tim!)

156 Countries Sing “All You Need is Love”

In yet another case of a major corporation stealing a popular Internet meme, Starbucks has sent cameras in 156 countries around the world to record people singing the Beatles’ “All You Need is Love” at the same time. Very well done and it makes me feel happy inside, but I hate it when big corporations blatantly steal ideas (see “Stand By Me” around the world, or any of the other ones out there).

NBC has a new show where a capella groups face off in a singing competition…and here’s the entire cast singing a cover of David Bowie and Queen’s “Under Pressure.”
