Our buddy Craig Reid from Ithaca College has created a new web-based gameshow called “Win What’s in Craig Reid’s Left Pocket” — a follow up to his Ithaca College TV game show, “IC Match.” The premise is simple: Craig approaches random strangers on the street and plays a simple 4 minute game show, where they get asked only one trivia question or play one simple game. If they win, they get what’s in Craig Reid’s left pocket (usually about $20), if they get it partially right, they get what’s in Craig Reid’s right pocket (a few bucks), and if they fail completely, they walk away with nothing.
Craig’s posted a bunch of episodes on his YouTube Channel. Below is the first one. What I find most entertaining about the show is the charmingly low production values, and the fact that Craig keeps the camera rolling and doesn’t edit out any of the distractions or awkward exchanges that end up happening (which you would expect when all of your contestants are random strangers). Enjoy!
