NASA this week unveiled its new Valkyrie robot, a prototype humanoid the space agency hopes will one day lay the foundation for the Human colonization of Mars:
The Valkyrie prototype (seen in the above video gripping a steering wheel with trachea-crushing force) faces stiff competition from DARPA’s new Atlas robot:
The Atlas model succeeds last year’s horrifying PETMAN design, incorporating murderous new abilities such as shimmying assassin-style between two walls, climbing steep ledges, and presumably, remorseless genocide.
