Compilation of all the pop music references from The Office. For a show that never uses any non-diegetic music, they sure manage to fit in a lot of bad pop karaoke. Nice!

Jackass host calls Rams quarterback Jim Everett by the wrong name (“Chris”) one too many times. This is pretty awesome.
(I found this on the list of the list of the Twenty Weirdest TV Interviews of All Time, which is a phenomenal collection of videos that you should all check out!)

No, not the M. Night Shymalan film. This is a great short film (a love story) from Australia. What’s especially interesting is that the protagonists don’t speak a word through the entire movie. Very well done!

Mr. Rogers has got to be the most genuine, caring and compassionate person in the history of television. I grew up on Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood, (as did just about every American kid born in the last 40 years), and it was such an important part of my childhood. Today, I stumbled across this clip of Fred Rogers defending PBS to the U.S. Senate in 1969. It’s absolutely touching.
Thirty years later, here is Mr. Rogers saying good-bye on one of the final episodes of Neighborhood. What an amazing man. I wish I had even one ounce of Mr. Rogers’ character.

After 19 years on the air, with the same title sequence since the show premiered in 1989, the Simpsons is making the switch to HD. And with it, they’ve created a NEW title sequence. (Don’t worry, it’s not all that different, but it does have some interesting tweaks and additions.) If you’re a Simpsons fan — and who isn’t? — then you’ll enjoy this.

Back in 1987, Crispin Glover did a famous interview with David Letterman that has gone down in history as one of the most awkward exchanges in television history, and resulted in Letterman walking off the stage after Glover tried to kick him. Just the other day, Joaquin Phoenix and Letterman had a similar awkward (some would say “drugged out”) interview.
Well, Crispin Glover’s interview, it turns out, was a piece of performance art that has been dubbed the “Theater of Discomfort.” Many people believe that Phoenix’s interview is also a Borat-style bit of performance art, for an upcoming “documentary” about his transition from an A-list Hollywood Actor to a bearded hip hop mogul. So, was Joaquin out of his mind, or acting? Take a look and decide for yourself:
Here’s Crispin Glover in 1987:

Chad Vader, Darth Vader’s awkward and far less successful brother, just came back from the dentist. He’s not feeling so well. (This is a spot-on recreation of David’s original!)
If you haven’t seen it, Chad Vader is a web comedy series about the dark lord working as a manager in a supermarket, and his day-to-day antics. They’re currently in season two, but here’s the first episode of season one:
