Weird!!! An inland lake in Palau is home to ten million jellyfish, who were separated from their sea-dwelling kin when the oceans receded, and have evolved in isolation ever since. They have few natural predators, and lost the capability to sting (along with many other unique adaptations). (Read more about them here .)
